Four climate champions visited the United Kingdom from 7th - 10th September 2015, as part of a study tour on showcasing and exchanging knowledge on institutional processes and climate legislations between India and the UK.
 
The primary objectives of the delegates’ visit to London was to:
  1. Create a network of sub-national, national and international parliamentarians who are committed to low carbon development in their respective jurisdictions
  2. Network with technical experts, investors and funding agencies to seek project ideas and funding opportunities and potential
  3. Share knowledge between the network on best practices and strategies for impacting broader policies on low carbon development
The Honourable Speaker of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and the Honourable Environment Minister Shri B. Gopala Krishna Reddy are part of the delegation from Andhra Pradesh. Shri Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, MLA from Dhar and Shri Sudarshan Gupta, MLA from Indore are also part of the delegation from Madhya Pradesh.

On 24th November 2015, we hosted a roundtable discussion on local low carbon initiatives in New Delhi with our partners, Climate Parliament. The event was inaugurated by Shri Rajeev Pratap Rudy, Honourable Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (IC) and Parliamentary Affairs. The objective of the event was to showcase the initiatives undertaken by our climate champion legislators to all the stakeholders, including legislative peers, donor agencies, think tanks and the media.
